I don’t usually write (or video) about restaurants, but today I’m going to make an exception.
Restaurants in Miami Beach are a dime-a-dozen, so it takes a special passion and dedication to the craft to separate one dining option from the next.
On my last trip to South Beach in Miami, I was invited by my friends over at Diamond PR to have dinner at a place they simply described as “the best steakhouse in Miami.”
How could I say no?Â
Red, the Steakhouse has the super-cool vibe, the knowledgeable staff, high profile clientele and an impressive wine-list, but it’s what happens behind the scenes that leaves the biggest impression on the dining experience.
Before sitting down for dinner, I had the opportunity to meet executive chef and proprietor, Peter Vauthy, who showed me around the kitchen and explained how he sources only the freshest seasonal ingredients and highest quality steaks for his menu.
From exclusive Brittany blue lobsters to prize-winning Japanese Kobe Beef, Peter prides himself on serving the best of the best, and as soon as it hits your lips… it all makes sense.
Without hesitation, I can honestly say, the ladies at Diamond PR were absolutely right in their description of Red, the Steakhouse.
It was hands down one of the best meals I’ve ever had in my entire life (and that includes eating Cuy).
Make sure to check out Red on your next trip to South Beach and you can thank me later.
