Even though they don’t really celebrate Valentine’s day here in Buenos Aires I was in need of some afternoon delight last Sunday so I decided to take a lady friend over to the Buenos Aires Japanese Gardens (jardin japones) in Palermo. It was a great idea except there was ton of people. It would have been a lot easier to harness my inner chi if we’d went during the week. Regardless I’m a big fan of Koi fish so it made it all worth it.
We even got to see a Samauri demonstration which was… interesting. It would have been a lot more believable if he didn’t drop the sword so much.
All-in-all the Buenos Aires Japanese Gardens are a great place to take a date and a nice little getaway from city life (during the week).

There’s some great Japanese sites in various subjects like films, Japanimation and radio but many are just reachable from Japan. I hope this video is useful to visitors of http://www.traveldeeper.co as it hows how you can use a Japanese proxy to access them from everywhere.
