Curiosity’s a powerful drug.
It forces us to do things, we never dreamed possible.
Like travel clear across the globe, just to experience a place for ourselves.
Because No matter how many images you see, or videos you watch… no form of social media or virtual reality will ever take the place of exploration – to see, touch and taste first hand – That’s what life’s all about. (video on phone to real life?)
The act of discovery evokes emotions – some that you rarely feel.
I’ve always been curious about Australia…
What does the sky look like over a campfire in the Outback? How soft is a wombats fur in Tasmania? and just How to properly prepare a meat pie at an rugby match in Melbourne.
I may not leave this world with a million dollars and a four car garage, but I’ll forever have these moments…
Curiosity leads to discovery. and that comes in many different forms… New friends, new cultures, new landscapes…
It doesn’t matter if we have a single day or an entire year to go explore – what matters is that we always stay curious.
To get off our phones, push away from our comfort zone, and experience this world first hand – At least for me, that’s when I feel the most alive.
So here’s to curiosity, and all of its incredible side effects.
