There are so many things to do in Fort Lauderdale and at the Harbor Beach Marriott Resort & Spa, that I just couldn’t decide.
On my first day at the resort I set out to experience everything from watersports and water taxi rides to beach bootcamp workouts and bicycle rentals. It was fun and exhausting and everything I’m usually looking for in a vacation.
On my second day at the resort, I decided to see how the “other half” live by doing absolutely nothing and making a video about it. Eat, drink and just relax – that was the agenda.
Based on the video above, I think you can say that I accomplished that goal whole-heartedly.
For those of you looking to vacation at the Harbor Beach Marriott Resort & Spa in Fort Lauderdale at some point in the future, let me give you the complete rundown of my second day at the resort so that you may treat yourself to such an unproductive, lazy and gluttony-filled experience.
If you stay focused (and inebriated) I think you too can achieve complete uselessness.

9:00AM – Wake up. I only woke up this early because if I didn’t, I would have missed the breakfast buffet at the Riva restaurant in the lobby. I never miss a breakfast buffet.
10:00AM – Nap on the beach.
12:00PM – Lunch at Sea Level Restaurant. Grilled fish tacos with a few Longboard Lagers are a must.
1:00PM – Nap at the pool.
2:00PM – Order a few poolside drinks. Start with the Tipsy Turtle complete with blueberry vodka, pineapple juice, blue curacao, and Parrot Bay Key Lime Rum.
3:00PM – Make your way to the Sea Level Bar that overlooks the beach to chat with some fellow vacationers. Order a couple of drinks, like my personal favorite, the Strawberry Lemonade and Vodka.
5:00PM – Happy Hour at 3030 Ocean where you can suck down a few 3030 Brews, complete with blackberries, cucumbers, vodka and ginger beer.
6:30PM – Nap in the room. Shower. Get yourself together.
8:00PM – Dinner at 3030 Ocean. Get everything, especially the coconut ceviche. Also, have a couple of drinks.
10:00PM – Hey, do whatever you can at this point.

From what I can remember, I had an amazing time at the Harbor Beach Marriott Resort & Spa and I highly recommend checking them out if you’re looking for some R&R in South Florida.
You can experience beachside luxury and gorgeous Atlantic ocean views, and the property is just minutes away from the popular, Las Olas Boulevard, the Beach Promenade and Sawgrass Mills Mall.
Enjoy responsibly!

Hi Gareth, the Harbor Beach is really a memorable one. One shouldn’t miss bicycle rentals. Nice to see the delicious foods in your dish.
