The Pool Parties of South Beach Miami

Along with pulled pork and Rihanna playlists, pool parties are one of my life’s great passions.

I live for hot summer days with friends, cocktails, music and lots of bikinis (admiring not modeling).

I have been fortunate enough to experience some of this country’s most incredible pool parties in Los Angeles, San Diego and Las Vegas, but I must say, I haven’t seen many that could top what’s going on in Miami.

Maybe I should start a new blog, “The Pool Party Traveler”? Bad idea?

Anyway, the pool party scene in South Beach can rival even the sexiest of Miami nightclubs.

Hot people, cold drinks, good music and bad decisions is what Miami’s all about and there’s no better place to experience this orgasmic concoction than a South Beach pool party!

So skip the extra blue cheese and oversized drinks on Ocean Drive and charm your way into one of the best daytime parties in America – where the locals of Miami go to see and be seen. 

Along with the Shelborne Hotel and RX pool party events around town, the Fountainbleau, Highbar, Shore Club, SLS, Delano and the W Hotel all boast popular weekend spots.

Just remember, this isn’t your typical local neighborhood pool party. Muscles are a must, drinks are promoted and clothing is frowned upon.
